This is an restored original 1967 Yamaha TD1-C on dispaly at the 2008 Motorcycle Super Show in Toronto. I'd like my replica to look as close as I can to this bike, only in fully operational running form. I have a DS5/6 motor and the original frame that I can modify to look like the TD1. Rear rim will be a Sun rim laced to a DS6 rear hub and the front will have a Sun rim spoked to a Gremica four leading shoe drum brake. The original DS6 forks and swingarm will be kept because look the part and they fit. Body work is easy to come by and I already have the fuel tank. Well, a fiberglass tank shell actually. I'll make up an aluminum fuel cell to run under the cover. Exhaust pipes I'll make, and a phone call will have clip-ons here shortly.
